What should I put on the Tag for my cat?

Hey guys,

So my cat has already been micro chipped and i recently got him a collar for his tags. I want to get him a tag, just in case he gets lost. I know the vet already provided me with one but has their information on it and not mine.

What are the good info to engrave on it case of an emergency? Oh his name is Slurpee btw (:

Yes, I’m very aware that the collars can be dangerous and could cause the cat to choke if it gets caught on something. That’s why i purchased a breakaway buckle collars. He is an indoor cat and has been trained to be that way. Though he sometimes wonders through the window to know what’s out there. I’d like to be safe now than sorry later (:

Just make it short sweet and to the point.

You can get some pretty nice dog/cat tags at Petco/Petsmart. They have a selection of tags, and you can engrave the information you want on their with their engraver machine. You can put information on both the front and back.

For my dogs tag, I put her name on the front, and the home phone on the back.

You’ll probably want more information though. So I say put the name on the front. Put your address and whatever phone numbers you want on the back. If she ever gets lost, I’m sure people will get the hint to call the numbers or go to the address. You don’t need to say “My Address Is” and then put the address. Most people have common sense on this subject. Lol.
