Why is my dog shaking his head?
This morning my dog started shaking his head almost constantly. We checked his ear, and it is red inside, but there is no discharge, and it doesn’t smell (symptoms of an ear infection). I’d like to try a home remedy and avoid taking him to the vet if at all possible. Any suggestions?
There could be a foreign object (or a bug) deep in his ear (that you can’t see). See if you can flush his ear with earwash (available at most pet supply stores).
